A TEAM of 11 intrepid men will be undertaking the gruelling Three Peaks Challenge at the weekend.
The men from St Albans will be climbing the three highest mountains in the UK – England’s Scafell Pike, Scotland’s Ben Nevis and Wales’ Snowdon – in under 24 hours in aid of The Pepper Foundation.
The charity provides care and assistance to seriously ill children in the Herts and Buckinghamshire area as well as supporting their families through stressful periods.
Team member Kuldip Chohan, the owner of Gallery Rouge in Chequer Street, said: “We can often take our health for granted, and this is our way of not only putting our bodies through the paces, but also helping those less fortunate and in dire need.”
