Three charged with burglary after cash stolen from St Albans home

Three men have been arrested following a burglary in St Albans last Friday (June 5).

The incident took place in Tavistock Avenue between 3.30am and 3.40am when cash was stolen.

Joseph Fox, 24, from Frogmore, David Hardey, 30, from Doggetts Way, St Albans and Marc Hardey, 32, from Cottonmill Lane were later arrested the same day.

All three have been charged with aggravated burglarly with intent and have been remanded in custody.

They are due to appear before St Albans Crown Court on Friday, June 19.
