Three-car crash closes St Albans road

A CAR collision caused a road in St Albans city centre to be closed for around 30 minutes this morning (September 27).

Three vehicles were involved in the incident, which took place at the junction of St Peter’s Street and Catherine Street at around 7am.

Emergency services were called to the scene and two people were taken to Watford General Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

The road was reopened again by 8am.
