Stephen Lawrence: 47, of no fixed abode, was committed to prison for 15 weeks and ordered to pay £115 costs after displaying racially aggravated writing, sign or other visible representation which was threatening, abusive or insulting at the London Colney Islamic Centre, with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, on June 4, and sending indecent, obscene or menacing emails on the same date. He was also sentenced in respect of a suspended sentence imposed on December 10 for refusing to provide a breath specimen for analysis at Hatfield on December 6.

Jaydan Anton: 25, of Cassius Drive, St Albans, was given a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £50 compensation and £105 costs after assaulting a woman by beating in Artisan Crescent, St Albans, on January 28.

Samuel Goodrich: 23, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, was fined £180 plus £215.51 compensation and £115 costs after stealing various meat items from Budgens in St Albans on May 11, 15 and 16.

Daniel Tearle: 31, of Ladies Grove, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £105 costs after stealing four bottles of wine worth £24 from Marks & Spencer in St Albans on May 20.

Simon Speer: 34, of Jodies Court, St Albans, was committed to prison for eight weeks and ordered to pay £200 costs after stealing books worth £183.76 from Waterstones in St Albans on May 31, and for breaching a suspended sentence for assaulting a police constable in Hatfield on May 5, and stealing Creme Eggs, sandwiches, ice cream, salami, wine, a caramel wafer and a dash cam from the Esso Petrol Station in St Albans on April 18, May 1 and April 14, and from the BP Garage in St Albans on April 5.

Matthew Brooks: 33, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was committed to prison for four weeks and ordered to pay £115 costs after using racially aggravated threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause harassment, alarm or distress, in St Albans on June 4, and for breaching a suspended sentence for assaulting a police constable in the execution of his duty in Stevenage on February 20, and entering Los Reyes tapas restaurant in Hitchin as a trespasser and stealing a bottle of wine worth £135, on December 25.

Simon Smith: 44, of Jodies Court, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £151 costs and awarded six penalty points after refusing to identify the motorist using his vehicle when it was involved in an offence, in Stevenage between December 23 and January 19.

David Glennon: 51, of Trumpington Drive, St Albans, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £660 plus £151 costs after failing to identify the motorist using his vehicle when it was involved in an offence, in Stevenage between September 15 and October 12.

Emma Arnold: 41, of Links Drive, Radlett, was fined £40 plus £115 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 40mph along the 30mph A5135 Elstree Way, Borehamwood, on December 9.

David Brazil: 44, of The Paddocks, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £129 costs and awarded three penalty points after driving with worn tyres along the A1(M) between J8-7 at Stevenage on December 7, and without an MOT on the same date.

Vinita Jain: 44, of Kenton Gardens, was fined £40 plus £115 costs and awarded three penalty points after speeding at 37mph along the 30mph A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, on December 24.

Eric Jones: 46, of Hawksmoor, Shenley, was fined £880 plus £151 costs and awarded six penalty points after driving without insurance and with an expired licence on Allerton Close, Borehamwood, on January 19.

Stephen Robinson: 42, of Hudson Close, St Albans, was fined £880 plus £151 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without a licence or insurance in Hudson Close, St Albans, on January 18.
