Kiran Naqvi: 33, of Cotlandswick, London Colney, was ordered to carry out 320 hours unpaid community work and pay £170 costs after claiming housing benefit by failing to disclose to St Albans district council and the Department for Work and Pensions that he was a full-time student receiving finance between October 7 2013 and January 10 2016.

Shahnewaz Choudhury: 23, of Francis Avenue, St Albans, was fined £80 plus £115 costs after being found in possesion of a bag of cannabis in Hatfield on October 1.

Shahajad Uddin: 20, of Francis Avenue, St Albans, was fined £110 plus £115 costs after being found in possession of a bag of cannabis in Hatfield on October 1.

Ibrahim Miyah: 39, of Meadowcroft, St Albans, was fined £500 plus £750 compensation and £550 costs after sending an indecent or grossly offensive text message in St Albans on February 15 2014.

Jonathan Humphrey: 62, of Ryder Seed Mews, St Albans. was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending and fined £160 plus 3105 costs after speeding at 38mph along the 30mph A505 Baldock Road, Letchworth, on August 14.

Nicola McAuliffe: 37, of Napsbury Lane, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £151 costs and was awarded nine penalty points after driving without due care and attention on Holywell Hill at its junction with Belmont Hill, St Albans, on April 21, failing to give way to an oncoming cyclist and causing a collision by crossing their path, causing them to suffer five broken ribs, punctured and collapsed lungs, a broken collar bone and a broken sternum.

Dane Bowen: 25, of Cyrils Way, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £686 costs for failing to disclose the identity of the motorist using his vehicle when it was involved in an offence, in Stevenage between February 15 and March 13. He was fined a further £1,100 and banned from driving for 18 months after driving without due care and attention in Watford House Lane, Watford, driving through no entry signs and then driving at speed and on the wrong side of the road to evade police, and failing to stop his vehicle when required to by a constable in uniform, all on February 7.

Richard Stapleton: 53, of Camp View Road, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £115 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance on Avenue One at the junction with Baldock Road, Letchworth, on May 4.

Hassan Choudhury: 37, of Mortimer Crescent, St Albans, was fined £100 plus £20 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph Kenilworth Court, Watford, on March 26.

Ahmed Ahmed: 20, of Davys Close, Wheathampstead was fined £200 plus £115 costs and was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, after driving without insurance and without due care and attention, pulling out of a side road and into the path of an oncoming vehicle, causing a collision, in Clarence Road, St Albans on May 4.

Gordon Allen: 69, of St Albans Road, Sandridge, was fined £168 plus £115 costs and awarded nine penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Hatfield Road at its junction with Station Road, Smallford, on May 12.

Renu Bhojwani: 55, of Silk Mill Road, Redbourn, was fined 3130 plus £115 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Piggotshill Lane, Harpenden, colliding with two vehicles, on April 30.

Claire Hallam: 35, of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans, was fined £40 plus £60 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 51mph along the 40mph A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road on February 10.

Sophie Armour: 30 of Porters Hill, Harpenden, was fined £880 plus £151 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without insurance and with an expired licence in London Road, Harpenden, on April 19.
