Alexander Sims: 39, of Housden Close, Wheathampstead, was ordered to carry out 60 hours unpaid community work, pay £100 compensation and £585 costs after assaulting a man in Wheathampstead on May 30.

Terry Olton: 39, of Masefield Road, Harpenden, was given an 18 month conditional discharge, plus £105 costs, after stealing an item of meat from Tesco Express in Harpenden on April 23.

Ross Beech: 38, of Salisbury Avenue, Smallford, was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months, and fined £80 plus £28.76 compensation and £315 costs after going to Welwyn Garden City with a carrier bag lined with tin foil to be used in the course of theft, on August 28, trespassing at Ventura Valet, Welwyn, with intent to steal on October 2, stealing a combi drill from B&Q in Welwun on June 10, and stealing alcohol and other items from the Co-op in St Albans on October 6.

Phillip Hart: 38, of Goldsmith Way, St Albans, was fined £900 plus £50 costs and banned from driving for three months after obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty, driving while disqualified and without insurance, in Turners Hill, Cheshunt, on June 16.

Kuldip Chohan: 47, of Ellis Fields, St Albans, was fined £146 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 38mph along the A5183 Frogmore, south of Brinsmead, St Albans, on March 31.

Jacqueline Henshall: 59, of Newsom Place, St Albans, was fined £440 plus £129 costs and awarded five penalty points for speeding at 70mph along the M25 between J20-19 when a 50mph temporary speed limit was in place on March 30.

Suzanna Knight: 52, of Hall Gardens, Colney Heath, was fined £80 plus £105 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding at 76mph along the M25 between J20-19 when a temporary 50mph speed limit was in place on March 30.

Marin Nache: 50, of Waldegrave Park, Harpenden, was fined £440 plus £107 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph A4125 Eastbury Road, outside Manning Court, Watford, on April 2, and then speeding at 40mph along the same stretch of road on April 7.

Preeti Sharma: 39, of Antonine Gate, St Albans, was fined £293 plus £114 costs and awarded four penalty points after speeding at 42mph along 30mph Watford Road, St Albans, on March 30.

Luke Wallis: 25, of Longacres, St Albans, was fined £220 plus £107 costs and awarded three penalty points for driving unsupervised with just a provisional licence and not displaying L plates, in Hatfield Road, St Albans on April 4.

Saqib Awan: 33, of Brecken Close, St Albans, was fined £433 plus £128 costs and awarded four penalty points for speeding along the 30mph A5183 Park Street, north of Burydell Lane, St Albans, on September 19 2015.

Nicholas Medcraft: 44, of Tassell Hall, Redbourn, was fined £233 plus £108 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding in excess of 20mph along the M25 when a temporary speed restriction was in place on January 12.

Michael Buckeridge: 72, of Monks Horton Way, St Albans, was fined £335 plus £115 costs and awarded six penalty points for driving without due care and attention in Sandpit Lane at the junction with Sandridge Road on April 27, causing personal injury to another person and failing to stop.

Niall O’Hara: 44, of Folly Lane, St Albans, was fined £40 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding in excess of 20mph when a temporary speed limit was in place on the M25 between J19-20 on February 9.

Lisa Cousins: 31, of Oysterfields, St Albans, was banned from driving for 22 months and fined 3140 plus £115 costs after giving a blood specimen containing cocaine and benzoylecgonine, in Dunstable Road, Redbourn, on September 2.
