Grant Weston: 24, of Waldegrave Park, Harpenden, was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £360 plus £121 costs after giving a breath specimen of 69mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, at West Common, Harpenden, on July 9.

Joanne Williams: 46, of Waveney Road, Harpenden, was ordered to carry out 80 hours unpaid community work and pay £145 costs after failing to disclose to HM Revenue and Customs that she was living together as husband and wife, and obtaining tax credits as a result, between April 6 2010 and March 31 2015.

Stacey Binelli: 27, of Clarendon Road, Harpenden, was fined £80 plus £105 costs and awarded four penalty points after speeding in excess of 30mph along Common Road, Kensworth, on September 4.

Aseb Khan: 34, of London Road, St Albans, was committed to prison for two weeks and ordered to pay £219 compensation and £215 costs after stealing a Technika 40” TV worth £219 belonging to Tesco at Watford on April 5, and failing to surrender to custody at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on July 15. He was committed to a further one week in prison and ordered to pay £200 costs after stealing a CCTV camera worth £114 from B&Q in Watford on June 15, and failing to surrender to custody at Central Herts Magistrates’ Court on June 27, and breaching a suspended sentence imposed on November 24 for stealing a Technik TV from Tesco Extra at Watford on November 1, DVDs worth £182.85 from WH Smith at Watford on September 22, and DVDs worth £171.85 also belonging to WH Smith at Watford on September 22.

Gavin Finlayson: 43, of Beech Way, Blackmore End, was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £200 costs after driving while disqualified and without insurance on the A1 slip road at South Mimms service station on June 9.

Francis McMullin: 29, of St Albans Road, Harpenden, was banned from driving for 26 months and fined £1,350 plus £220 costs after giving a breath speciment of 108mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Harpenden Road, St Albans, on July 24.

Danny Mortimer: 20, of Buckwood Road, Markyate, was fined £640 plus £115 costs and was awarded seven penalty points for driving without due care and attention and without insurance in Monument Road and Monument Drive, Berkhamsted, on July 3 and failing to stop on being required to by a constable in uniform in Monument Drive on the same date.

Matthew May: 35, of Franklin Close, Colney Heath, was fined £440 plus £95.84 vehicle excise back duty and £40 costs for keeping an unlicensed vehicle on the public road, at Stag Hill, Enfield, on November 29.

Mark Stanton: 53, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans, was fined £47 plus £105 costs and awarded four penalty points for driving without due care and attention along Shenley Road, at its junction with Redbourn Road, Hemel Hempstead, on January 10.

Azad Miah: 47, of Shirley Road, St Albans, was fined £160 plus £105 costs and awarded five penalty points for driving without due care and attention on Bricket Road, St Albans, at its junction with Victoria Street, on December 24, at which time he cut the corner and collided with a stationery cyclist, breaking his leg in the process.
