Jamie Carrier: 36, of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans, was committed to prison for four weeks suspended for 12 months, and ordered to pay £224.98 compensation and £120 costs after stealing meat worth £200 from the Co-op in St Albans on January 20, meat worth £24.98 also from the Co-op on February 2, and meat worth £22.47 from Morrisons in St Albans on February 4.

Shane Jones: 22, of Cockle Way, Shenley, was fined £110 plus £42.99 compensation and £80 costs for stealing a purse and its contents and making a false representation by tendering a bank card belonging to another in order to obtain goods worth £12.99, in Borehamwood on March 7.

Neil Hampson: 49, of Cockle Way, Shenley, was fined £75 plus £30 compensation and £105 costs for stealing three joints of meat worth £30 from the Co-op store in Cell Barnes Lane, St Albans, on November 14.

Susanna Hills: 38, of Cottonmill Crescent, St Albans, was fined £75 plus £220 costs for stealing clothing worth £125 from Marks & Spencer at London Colney on April 27, and for being in possession of 21g of cannabis on the same date.

John Gilmartin: 59, of Upper Lattimore Road, St Albans, was fined £25 plus £15.92 compensation and £255 costs for stealing eight cans of Special Brew lager worth £15.92 from The Little Convenience Store, London Road, St Albans, on April 17.

Rizwan Afzal: 19, of Roland Street, St Albans, was banned from driving for 13 months and fined £110 plus £105 costs after giving a blood specimen of 97mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood, in Willow Way, Hatfield, on February 1.

Kanneth Okonera: 49, of Cambridge Road, St Albans, was banned from driving for 22 months and fined £300 plus £265 costs after giving a breath specimen of 69mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Toms Hill Road, Aldbury, Tring, on May 11, for driving without a licence and with a worn tyre, and for failing to stop after an accident, all on the same date.

Daniel Blyth: 29, of Batchwood Drive, St Albans, was banned from driving for 18 months and fined £400 plus £125 costs after giving a blood specimen of 155mg of alcohol in 100ml of blood, in Coursers Road, Colney Heath, on February 22.

Nicholas Mott: 67, of Russet Drive, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £105 costs, and was banned from driving for 17 months after giving a breath specimen of 65mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Tyttenhanger Green, St Albans on April 5.

Carrie Rowe: 27, of Selby Avenue, St Albans was fined £55 plus £60 costs after being found in possession of a small weight of cannabis at Hatfield on March 17, and fined a further £55 for stealing six DVDs and food from ASDA in Hatfield on March 17.

Jahan Malik: 27, of Clarence Road, St Albans, was fined £146 plus £105 costs for being in possession of a small quantity of cannabis on February 17 and failing to surrender to custody at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on April 21.

Been Binitie: of Hatfield Road, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £19.20 compensation and £140 costs for travelling without a ticket on a train route near Radlett on October 20.

Andrew Bonar: 28, of Cathedral View, St Albans, was fined £85 plus £11.30 compensation and £140 costs for travelling on a train without a valud ticket near Radlett on December 4.

John Farrell: 33, of Wendover Close, Harpenden, was fined £200 plus £140 costs for travelling without a ticket at Harpenden station on October 14.

Oliver Barrow: 20, of Branch road, Park Street, was fined £400 plus £3.90 compensation and £160 costs for travelling on a railway without previously paid his fare, at St Albans station on December 10.

Heshmat Zandi: 52, of Marlborough Road, St Albans, was fined £37 plus £6.70 compensation and £80 costs for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection en route near Elstree and Borehamwood station on November 23.

George Barrett: 23, of Dellfield, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £11.30 compensation and £140 costs after failing to hand over a ticket for inspection near St Albans station on December 15.

Ben Pett: 31, of Lichfield Place, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £20 costs for exiting St Albans station without passing through the barrier in the correct manner, on December 15. He was fined a further £200 plus £140 costs for failing to hand over a ticket for inspection on the same date.

Ian Haggarty: 46, of Grindcobbe, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £140 costs for using a television without a licence at the above address between November 3-11.

Josephine Horan: 52, of Newgate Close, St Albans, was fined £37 plus £140 costs for using a television without a licence at the above address on September 9.
