Motoring offences

Daniel Benstead: 21, of Finley Road, Harpenden, was fined £80 plus £20 costs and was awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph Lower Luton Road, Harpenden, on February 1.

Justin Komodromou: 42, of Roman Way, Markyate, was fined £600 plus £145 costs and was banned from driving for nine months after driving without insurance in Luton Road, Markyate, on January 23.

Rachel Moffat: 49, of The Ridgeway, St Albans, was fined £200 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 50mph along the 40mph A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road on February 8.

Janet Huck: 53, of Moreton End Lane, Harpenden, was fined £135 costs plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 37mph along the 30mph Redbourn Lane at Harpenden on January 27.

Josephine Beuret: 38, of Gilpin Green, Harpenden, was fined £37 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph B653 Lower Luton Road at Harpenden on February 2.

Mark Adams: 27, of Edgbaston Drive, Shenley, was fined £135 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 36mph along the 30mph A412 Rickmansworth Road, Watford, on February 6.

Milton Akanmu: 49, of Hill Dyke Road, Wheathampstead, was fined £18 plus £105 costs and was banned from driving for six months after driving without a licence along Tamblin Way, Hatfield on February 27, a further £18 for the same offence in Hill Dyke Road, Harpenden, on March 20, and a further £18 for the same offence in the same road on March 21.

Brendan Sharkey: 58, of Watling Street, St Albans, was fined £80 plus £20 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding in excess of 30mph along the A5183 Park Street at St Albans on December 20.

Tanya Cook: 34, of Ragged Hall Lane, St Albans, was fined £170 plus £105 costs and awarded six penalty points for speeding in excess of 40mph along the A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road on January 17 and January 21, and a further £85 for speeding on Leverstock Green Road on February 11.

Elisabeth Pearson: 65, of The Park St Albans, was fined £80 plus £20 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 43mph along the 30mph Watford Road at Chiswell Green on February 27.

Kasin Nazar: 19, of Vesta Avenue, St Albans, was fined £75 plus £60 costs and awarded three penalty points for using a vehicle with dangerous front nearside and offside tyres, in Oysterfields Road, St Albans, on February 24.

Amanda Rex: 37, of New House Park, St Albans, was fined £135 plus £105 costs and awarded three penalty points for speeding at 38mph along the 30mph A5183 at Frogmore on February 5.

DRINK DRIVING

Phillip Brownless: 43, of Lectern Lane, St Albans, was banned from driving for 16 months and fined £110 plus £105 costs after giving a breath specimen of 56mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, in Redbourn Road, St Albans, on August 1.

Michael Towner: 44, of Brewhouse Hill, Wheathampstead, was banned from driving for 17 months and fined £450 plus £130 costs after giving a breath specimen of 69mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, at Wheathampstead Road, St Albans, on August 6.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

Paul Crosbie: 24, of Lower Paxton Road, St Albans, was fined £75 plus £400 compensation and £105 costs for damaging a window worth £300 at St Albans on July 31, and a further £75 for possession of a small amount of cannabis on the same date.

ANIMAL CRUELTY

Wayne Ypey: 42, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was ordered to have treatment for alchohol dependency and pay £145 costs for causing unnecessary suffering to a dog by kicking it at St Albans on April 13, and a further £50 for sending a grossly offensive text message on the same day.

PUBLIC ORDER OFFENCES

Joseph Fox: 23, of Garden Cottages, Frogmore, was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £165 costs because of sustained aggression to a lone female when he caused harassment, alarm and distress by threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour at Harpenden on March 26, and was banned from driving for 60 days and fined £110 for driving without care and attention along High Street and Rothamsted Avenue, Harpenden, on March 26.
