Michael Lamb: 82, of Alsop Close, London Colney, was fined £167 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and awarded five penalty points after driving without due care and attention in Peters Avenue, London Colney, on March 10. He was observed performing a turning manoeuvre in his Hyundai Sonata, going backwards and forwards several times and causing the traffic to be held up, and as the final reverse was completed he collided with a Vauxhall Astra creating a loud bang. Lamb then drove away at speed, leaving the Astra with a cracked and loosened rear bumper and knocked in exhaust.

Monwar Chowdhury: 20, of Holyrood Crescent, St Albans, was banned from driving for six months and fined £160 plus £115 costs after driving a Volkswagen Polo without insurance or a licence in Holland Gardens, Watford, on January 18.

Gavin House: 35, of Nightingale Lane, St Albans, was banned from driving for 56 days, and fined £650 plus £85 costs and £65 towards victim services after speeding at more than twice the legal limit of 30mph along Grace Way, north of its junction with Vardon Road, Stevenage, on January 20, with a speed of 67mph recorded for his Mercedes Benz.

Michael Saguiez: 43, of Abbots Park, St Albans, was fined £115 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and was awarded four penalty points after speeding in excess of 30mph along the B653 Lower Luton Road, outside Lea Industrial Estate, Harpenden, in his Mercedes Benz Sprinter on March 2.

Michael Palmer: 25, of Artisan Crescent, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £100 compensation, £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after assaulting a man by beating in St Albans on August 26, and using racially aggravated threatening or abusive words or behaviour likely to causes harassment, alarm or distress, on the same date.

James Hopkins: 61, of Norris Close, London Colney, was banned from driving for 14 months and fined £100 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, after giving a breath specimen of 48mcg of alcohol per 100ml of breath, in Caledon Road, London Colney, on September 10.

Matthew Miller: 41, of Langley Grove, Sandridge, was committed to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months, ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for nine months, was banned from driving for 36 months and was ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 towards victim services, after giving a breath specimen of 176mcg per 100ml of breath - over five times the legal limit - in Harpenden Lane, Redbourn, on September 8.

Adrian Liburd: 52, of Mountbatten Close, St Albans, was given a one year conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 towards victim services, after being found in possession of a mobile phone which was not registered to him, in St Albans on June 26, and which he was prohibited from doing by a Criminal Behaviour Order made at Bristol Crown Court on January 28.

Jay Wood: 35, of Grindcobbe, St Albans, was fined £120 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after being found to have cultivated nine cannabis plants in St Albans on September 8.

John Norman: 52, of Radlett Road, Colney Street, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £100 costs and £20 towards victim services for being drunk and disorderly in Upper Marlborough Road, St Albans, and obstructing a police constable in the execution of his duty, both on June 24.
