Scott Ayres: 42, of Watson Avenue, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £85 costs and £66 towards victim services, and was awarded six penalty points after driving a Volkswagen Golf without insurance in Hatfield Road, St Albans, on February 14.

Simon Andrews: 36, of Aran Close, Harpenden, was fined £269 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and was awarded three penalty points after speeding at 62mph in a BMW along the M1 between J6A to 7 when a temporary 50mph speed limit was in place on February 14.

Danielle De Maio: 32, of Hedley Road, St Albans, was fined £220 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and awarded three penalty points after driving a Vauxhall Corsa through a red light on the A602 Hitchin Road on February 18.

Dionne Hampson: 45, of East Common, Redbourn, was fined £220 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, after driving an Audi A6 in St Peter’s Street, St Albans, without an MOT certificate in force for the vehicle, on February 25.

Nicolae Bratila: 28, of Lye Lane, Bricket Wood, was fined £660 plus £85 costs and £66 towards victim services, and banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, after driving a Vauxhall Vectra without insurance along the A41 at Bushey on December 9, and was fined a further £220 for also not having an MOT certificate in force for the vehicle.

Nicolas Tasker: 33, of Mortimer Crescent, Kings Park, St Albans, was fined £300 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and was awarded five penalty points after failing to stop following an accident in which damage was caused to another vehicle, namely a Citroen C3 Picasso, but his vehicle, a Vauxhall Mokka, in the car park of Sainsbury’s in St Albans on December 22, and was fined a further £300 for driving without due care and attention with relation to the same incident.

Tiger Bailey: 21, of Sandridge Road, St Albans, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and fined £333 plus £85 costs and £33 towards victim services, after failing to identify the driver using his vehicle, a Vauxhall Astra, when it was involved in an offence, in Stevenage on April 6.

Robert Fowler: 44, of Ver Meadows, Redbourn, was fined £360 plus £85 costs and £36 towards victim services, and awarded six penalty points for driving a Ford Transit without insurance in Torpoint, Cornwall, on January 5.

John Gilmartin: 61, of Hill End Lane, St Albans, was fined £45 plus £1.50 compensation and £30 towards victim services after stealing a purse containing £1.50 and an HSBC bank card in St Albans on July 29.

Andrew Sangers: 42, of Frogmore Home Park, St Albans, was fined £180 plus £100 compensation, £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress, at Essendon on March 1.

Daniel Hill: 32, of The Ridgeway, St Albans, was fined £120 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after being drunk and disorderly in The Ridgeway, St Albans, on August 2.

Mohamed Mrabate: 18, of Thirlmere Drive, St Albans, was given a 12 month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 towards victim services after being found in possession of a bag of cannabis in St Albans on April 4.

Frank Brinkley: 51, of Bricket Road, St Albans, was committed to prison for 20 weeks suspended for 12 months, and was ordered to carry out 120 hours unpaid community work and pay £350 costs and £115 towards victim services, after assaulting a man by beating in St Albans between June 18 and 19.
