Vincenzo Giordano: 35, of Grove Road, Harpenden, was fined £660 plus £85 costs and £66 towards victim services, and was awarded six penalty points for driving a Nissan Primastar without insurance in Cottonmill Crescent, St Albans, on April 2.

Lawrence Marsh: 32, of Upton Close, Park Street, was fined £230 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and was awarded six penalty points for driving a Peugeot 206 in Watling Street, Park Street, while using a handheld mobile phone, on March 28.

David Brazil: 44, of Colney Heath Lane, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £85 costs and £66 towards victim services, and was awarded six penalty points for refusing to identify the motorist driving his Ford Focus when it was involved in speeding at 48mph along 40mph Theobald Street, Radlett, on April 21, as required at Stevenage between May 2 and 29.

Serica Hibbert: 25, of Ennerdale Close, St Albans, was fined £660 plus £85 costs and £66 towards victim services, and was awarded six penalty points for refusing to identify the motorist driving her Range Rover when it was involved in speeding at 52mph along the 40mph A602 Broadhall way, Stevenage, on April 21, as required at Stevenage between May 3-30.

Nuno Barbosa: 26, of St Leonards Crescent, Sandridge, was fined £440 plus £85 costs and £44 towards victim services after driving a Seat Ibiza along the A1(M) northbound between J1-2 at Hatfield on April 9, when the percentage of light allowed through both front windows was insufficient in that they only allowed for the transmission of 18 per cent of light, compared to the legal limit of 70 per cent.

Gary Kilduff: 29, of Hill End Lane, St Albans, was fined £220 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services and was awarded six penalty points for driving a Vauxhall Vectra along the M1 southbound between J10-9 at Markyate while using a handheld mobile phone on April 9.

Nicholas Last: 40, of Wildwood Avenue, Bricket Wood, was fined £220 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services for driving a Rover 25 along Tippendell Lane, St Albans, while in possession of an expired driving licence, on April 10.

James Hiller: 33, of Charrington Place, St Albans, was fined £440 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £45.84 vehicle excise back duty for driving an unlicensed BMW 4 Series in Watford Road, St Albans, on October 28 2016.

Paula Legge: 38, of Greenwood Gardens, Shenley, was fined £333 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services, and was awarded three penalty points for speeding at 40mph in a Volkswagen Golf along 30mph B5378 Allum Lane, Elstree, on September 12 2016.

Claire Simpson: 48, of Wesley Road, Markyate, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and fined £220 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after driving a Toyota Avensis along Markyate High Street while using a handheld mobile phone, on December 14.

Josie Adams: 38, of The Pleasance, Harpenden, was banned from driving for six months due to repeat offending, and fined £246 plus £85 costs and £30 towards victim services after speeding at 60mph in a Kia Cee’d along the 50mph A414 Stanstead Abbotts by-pass on February 17.

Andriy Nikolaiev: 49, of Brooklands, St Albans, was ordered to participate in rehabilitation appointments for 30 days, carry out 160 hours unpaid community work, and pay £85 costs and £85 towards victim services, after assaulting a woman by beating in St Albans on September 9, and being in possession of five knives in a public place in St Albans on September 25.

Gary Jakeman: 28, of Bardwell Court, St Albans, was committed to prison for six weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 towards victim services after using a bank card he knew was not his to make a contactless payment in St Albans on September 21, and handling stolen goods on the same date. He was then committed to prison for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £41.65 compensation, £85 costs and £115 towards victim services for using a card which he knew was not his to make contactless payments in St Albans on two occasions on September 28, and handling stolen goods on the same date.
