Temporary traffic lights hit St Albans city centre on Sunday

A BUSY St Albans road will be partly closed for repairs starting on Sunday.

Veolia Water will be renewing a short stretch of main in Holywell Hill and temporary four-way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Holywell Hill and London Road until Wednesday.

A Veolia spokesperson said: “We are co-ordinating the work with Hertfordshire County Council to ensure that it aligns with their road resurfacing programme, and would like to thank our customers for their patience during this time.”
