Police have arrested two teenagers after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed in St Albans on Friday evening.
A 14-year-old and 16-year-old boy remain in custody on suspicion of GBH following an altercation in Verulamium Park that left a teenager with abdominal injuries.
He was taken to hospital by the air ambulance where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not deemed to be life-threating.
Chief inspector Stuart Orton said: “I want to thank everyone who has assisted with our enquiries so far as we work to establish the circumstances around what happened.
“It is believed that a number of people were present at the time of the incident and I would urge anyone with information, who hasn’t already provided a statement to police, to please make contact.”
