A 16-YEAR-OLD girl was taken to hospital, following a crash in London Colney during the early hours of yesterday morning (June 4).

Emergency services were called to Haseldine Road shortly before 1.20am, where two vehicles had been in collision.

Fire crews from St Albans had to use hydraulic cutting equipment to remove the roof of one of the vehicles, in order free the teenager who was trapped.

East of England Ambulance Service crews then treated the girl, who was conscious and breathing, for suspected pelvic and hip injuries on the scene, before taking her to St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
