A 13-year-old boy has had his bike stolen after being threatened by two boys near Colney Heath Lane in St Albans.

The teenager was riding his bike along the Alban Way at about 1.20pm on Saturday, December 3, when two boys blocked his path and demanded that he hand over his black mountain bike.

After stealing the bike, the pair then made off with it in the direction of Smallford.

Both boys were described as being white and about 12 years of age. One had brown hair, and was wearing a Giorgio Armani tracksuit.

The other, who was carrying a satchel, was of a slim build and had a shaved head.

The boy’s bike has since been recovered after it was found by a member of the public.
