AN 18-year-old girl has died in hospital following an incident at her home at the weekend.

All three emergency services were called to the scene in Parklands Drive, St Albans, at around 2pm on Saturday afternoon.

The girl was rushed to Watford General Hospital where she remained in a critical condition until her death on Tuesday. It is believed that she took her own life.

Police are not treating her death as suspicious and have referred it to the coroner.
