A TEENAGER has appeared in remand court charged with two burglaries in St Albans.
Stefan Jakeman, 19, of Green Lane, St Albans, was arrested on Sunday on suspicion of a burglary in Artisan Crescent between April 23 and 27 during which a hot water tank was stolen from an airing cupboard.
He was also charged with attempted burglary in Sandridge Road between April 31 and May 1 where a padlock was forced on a metal gate to gain access to business premises.
Jakeman, who appeared at Hatfield Remand Court today, pleaded guilty to the Artisan Crescent burglary and not guilty to the Sandridge Road burglary. He is next due to appear in court on September 3.
