Seven local walks are being hosted by ramblers groups from the Herts and North Middx area this Saturday, September 24.
The groups’ annual walk day and picnic is being hosted in Wheathampstead this year and offers walks to suit all abilities and distances ranging from three to 15 miles.
The free-to-attend walks all start and finish at the Memorial Hall in Wheathampstead and are followed by an optional ‘bring-and-share’ afternoon tea from 4pm to 6pm. Anyone wishing to join the tea should bring a food dish to share, which can be left at the hall during the walk.
Start times for the walks are staggered to ensure they all finish at 4pm and details can be found here and the event webpage.
