CHILDREN are being encouraged to take the plunge and get active this half-term holiday with free swimming.
Under-18s can swim free at Bricket Wood, Harpenden and Westminster Lodge swimming pools under the Kids Swim Free scheme operated by St Albans District Council.
The offer is from Monday until Friday with sessions running from 10am till midday and then from 2pm until 4pm each day. No booking is required but children must have a Leisure Card which is free to all residents in the district.
