Campaigners are asking St Albans residents to take part in a survey on the future of hospital services in west Herts.
Members of the New Hospital Campaign (NHC) argue that a new A&E hospital central to St Albans, Watford and Dacorum would serve the community better than renovating existing services at Watford General.
The confidential survey asks residents what options they would prefer for planned care service, and whether they believe quality of care can be maintained at Watford General while it undergoes renovations.
Members of the campaign have promised to accurately represent the results of the survey, even if it does not reflect their views. The results will be passed on to NHS decision makers at the West Herts Hospitals Trust (WHHT) and Herts Valleys Clinical Commissioning Group (HVCCG).
