THREE foals stolen from a gated field in Kimpton Bottom have been reunited with their mothers after turning up in Dunstable a few days later.

A Shetland pony which was just three weeks old was taken sometime between 3pm and 6.30pm on Friday, June 14,

Thieves, believed to be in a black Vauxhall Zafira, are thought to have carried the animal over a fence before making off with it in an unknown direction. A pair of foals were then taken the following day between 6.30pm and 7pm.

Social media sites suggest the foals were found abandoned on Dunstable High Street in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police are currently appealing for witnesses and anyone with information is asked to contact them on the non-emergency number 101.
