Stolen car torched

A CAR was torched on farmland in the early hours of Tuesday morning. A fire crew from St Albans was called to Cheapside Farm, in Sandridgebury Lane, at about 2.30am to find a Vauxhall Vectra engulfed in flames. Police also attended the scene and they are

A CAR was torched on farmland in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

A fire crew from St Albans was called to Cheapside Farm, in Sandridgebury Lane, at about 2.30am to find a Vauxhall Vectra engulfed in flames.

Police also attended the scene and they are currently investigating the incident which is being treated as deliberate. A spokesperson for Herts Police said that the car was believed to have been stolen.
