A CAR thought to have been stolen was torched in a St Albans street overnight.
Firefighters from St Albans were called to the scene off Townsend Drive, St Albans, just after 11pm and found the blue Volkswagen Passat well alight.
They left the scene around an hour later and police recovered the vehicle for examination.
