Five girls from St Albans Girls Schools (STAGS) spent the day at Westminster Abbey alongside the Queen and Prime Minister to remember the soldiers who fought in the Battle of the Somme.
The remembrance service was held last week on the eve of the battle’s 100 year anniversary.
The Duke of Edinburgh and military service men also attended.
