WOOLWORTHS in St Albans was trading as normal today (Thursday) even though the retail chain has gone into administration.
Administrators Deloitte are searching for a buyer for the 815 stores nationwide which employ 30,000 staff after Woolworths was no longer able to service its £385 million debt. It said there had been some interest in taking over the stores.
