A DAUGHTER is holding two charity coffee and shopping events next week in memory of her parents, who died of cancer within 17 days of each other.
Kathryn Crossley is inviting people into her St Albans home on Tuesday (Nov 3) to enjoy a brew and a variety of stalls selling homemade cakes and soaps, jewellery, designer clothing, jams and chutney, silk flower arrangements and gifts for all the family.
She lost both of her parents, Harold and Eva Bradshaw, to cancer in 2000.
Kathryn said: "This was devastating to my family. We were helped through the worst times by the Macmillan nurses who gave comfort, support and good advice."
The events will take place at 32 Homewood Road between 9am and midday, and then 7.30pm and 9.30pm, with all proceeds going towards MacMillan Cancer Support.
Kathryn added: "Everyone is welcome. Please bring family and friends to support this worthy cause.
