A woman was charged with shoplifting


A 38 year old woman from St Albans has been charged with shoplifting and possession of cannabis.

DI Pete Frost from St Albans Local Crime Unit said that Susanna Hills, of Cottonmill Crescent, was arrested on Monday (27) following the alleged theft of more than £125 worth of items from Marks and Spencer in Colney Fields Shopping Park.

She has been released on police bail and is due to appear before St Albans Magistrates Court on May 12.
