A MOUNTAIN walker from St Albans died scaling Ben Nevis on Saturday.
Tony Delaney, 42, collapsed on the mountain just after 8am and despite resuscitation attempts by the Lochaber Mountain Rescue Team, he died at the scene.
Mr Delaney, who was walking with friends, was then transferred by a RAF Kinloss rescue helicopter.
