St Albans urban duo LS One play local gig for Children in Need
HOT on the heels of a successful UK tour, St Albans urban duo LS One have held a mini concert at The Horn.
The former Francis Bacon School pupils, Ice Playa (aka Michael Lawrence) and Kristal (Chris Green), both 25, have made giant strides in the music industry, supporting the likes of Tinchy Stryder, DJ Ironik, N-Dubz and Flo Rida.
They recently entertained about 100 people at The Horn, Victoria Street, with friend Nate Johnson.
Ice Playa said the event, for Children in Need, was filmed for the BBC.
He added: “We performed a three-track set. Other artists on the night were Impact, from St Albans, Uncle Mix who has his own studio in Tottenham, Gabriella Rego, Laura Williams, Priscilla - Leah, KC + Hope and finally Reece Rydar.”

“We decided to use The Horn as it is a fantastic venue which is local for us. We feel that there are not enough urban events like this in St Albans or Herts.”
The duo have enjoyed good turnouts while on tour recently, performing in the likes of Cardiff, Bristol, Colchester, Bournemouth, Basildon and Camberley.
