A new beer promoting wildlife conservation has been debuted at Ye Olde Fighting Cocks by Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust and Farr Brew.
Named Wildlife by a competition winner, the beer is the result of a partnership between the St Albans-based trust and the Wheathampstead brewery.
Farr Brew co-owner Nick Farr said: “We’re thrilled to have launched our new pale ale in support of the trust.
“Caring for our local community and environment is core to Farr Brew’s values so partnering with the trust in this way is the perfect fit.
“We look forward to hearing what everyone thinks of the new beer.”
The brewery are also working with the trust on making the area where they grow their hops wildlife-friendly.
The trust’s conservation manager Tim Hill said: “Farr Brew shares our passion for conserving local wildlife. This exciting partnership will contribute to our work to achieve a living landscape across Hertfordshire.”
