Keen golfers are being invited to take part in a charity golf day organised to raise money for a local suicide prevention charity.

The OLLIE - One Life Lost Is Enough - Foundation was set up by St Albans father Stuart Falconer, who lost his 15-year-old son to suicide last year.

The organisation is raising money to train three Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) trainers, who will provide schools with vital skills on how to identify people displaying signs of suicidal thoughts.

The golf day, held at Aldwickbury Golf Club in Harpenden, will take place next Friday, May 13, alongside a three-course meal and charity raffle.

Guests can expect a shotgun start with trophy presentation at the end.

Prices are £95 for an individual or £350 for a team of four. All proceeds will go towards the OLLIE Foundation.
