Repairs have been completed on a Victorian signal at the St Albans signal box, just in time for the Herts Big Weekend.
The signal had been damaged in Storm Doris, which caused havoc on train and road networks.
The repairs involved installing a replacement arm.
Signal Box Trust chair, Tony Furse, said it was very pleasing to see the signal restored to its former state, and once again fully operational.
The Signal Box, on Ridgmont Road, is due to take part on the Herts Big Weekend, over Saturday, April 1 and Sunday, April 2.
The signal box will be open from 10am to 5pm on both days.
Entry is free, and visitors can expect a miniature train rides, a model railway, and a photographic display of the history of St Pancras Station, as well as the regular demonstrations of signalling practice.
