Two shoplifters were caught red handed after trying to steal from a store in St Albans.
The women, aged 42 and 55 from London, had attempted to lift £800 worth of clothing from a New Look store on Monday January 25 but were stopped moments later thanks to quick communication between police and staff in the shop.
The pair, who also had a magnetic de-tagging device, were found in the Maltings Car Park.
They were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to steal, and bailed to appear at Hatfield Police Station on February 17.
