TWO schoolgirls from St Albans had stars in their eyes last Thursday when they got to meet international superstar Rihanna.
Alice Lawrence and Hannah Garcia met the pop star when she turned on the Christmas lights at Westfield Shopping Centre in West London after Alice won a competition on Capital Radio.
Alice, 15, said: “It was a really great experience and Rihanna was very nice to us although we didn’t get to spend too long in her company.”
Alice and Hannah, who both attend Sandringham School, got to see the lights turned on with other competition winners and indulge in some retail therapy.
