A SPONSORED goal-kicking event will take place at the Old Albanians Rugby Club on Sunday.
Ex-professional rugby player Ciaran Hill, who now works as a junior surgeon and lives in St Albans, will kick for 12 hours non-stop to raise money for a memorial charity.
The Laura Case Trust was set up by family and friends in memory of Laura, a trainee doctor who was tragically killed in a road accident whilst working in Uganda in 2007 just after her 24th birthday.
The charity now raises money for various projects which Laura espoused.
