A resurfacing scheme involving a busy St Albans roundabout is taking place overnight next week.

The resurfacing work on the A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road involves the stretch between Bedmond Lane and up to and including the roundabout at the junction of King Harry Lane and Bluehouse Hill.

It will involve a full road closure and is expected to last for two nights from Monday, July 11.

The work is being carried out by Eurovia on behalf of the county council and the £54,000 scheme will involve overnight closures between 10pm and 5am. Noisy work such as jack hammering is scheduled to be completed by midnight.
