A generous donation from the St Albans Round Table has funded a trip to Woburn Safari Park for a social club for adults with physical disabilities.
Round Tablers donated £500 to enable members of The Daylight Club, which meets twice a week, to hire a wheelchair accessible coach to transport them to the park.
Thanking the Round Table for its donation, Salpi Gulbekian, of The Daylight Club, said: “We had a lovely day at Woburn and it was really nice that the group were able to travel together.”
Round Tabler Dan Carter added: “We are only too happy to use some of the money that we have raised through annual events such as our Christmas float to support a local good cause such as The Daylight Club.”
