HOLYWELL Hill in St Albans will be closed tonight, Wednesday August 15, for resurfacing work.
A spokesperson for Herts county council said the road will be closed between the Griffiths Way roundabout and the A1081 London Road from 7pm to 6am.
To avoid noise pollution the loudest work is expected to take place before midnight.
Motorists are being advised to use the following diversions: A1081 High Street/Verulam Road, A4147 Hemel Hempstead Road/Bluehouse Hill, King Harry Lane, A5183 St Stephen’s Hill/Holywell Hill.
