A charity curry night is to be held in aid of a refugee charity which delivers local donations and support to the camps in France.
The charity, St Albans For Refugees (StAR), will be hosting a dinner at the Abbey Spice in Stanhope Road, St Albans, on Sunday, May 15. The money raised will go towards funding what is needed most in the camps at the time of the charity’s next trip. The last venture saw the charity supply the Dunkirk camp with new generators and food and clothes donations to the Calais Jungle.
Tickets for the event, which can take up to 60 people and starts at 7pm, are priced at £20 with £8 going directly to StAR.
