Question Time is coming to St Albans for the first time and is looking for audience members to hold their panel to account.

The BBC’s popular political programme will be at the Sandpit Theatre on Thursday, May 3.

Presenter David Dimbleby said: “I am very much looking forward to bringing Question Time to St Albans for the first time. What really matters is we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind. It’s a chance for people in St Albans to get their voice heard not just by politicians, but right across the UK.”

The panel has yet to be confirmed, but producers are looking for people to apply to be in the audience via the website bbc.co.uk/questiontime or by ringing 0330 123 9988.

There are approximately 100 people in the audience, selected to ensure political balance. The panel is made up of government and opposition representatives, political commentators and celebrities.
