A St Albans based prosthetic make up artist last night (Sun) clinched his second Oscar.

Mark Coulier, who owns Coulier Creatures FX based in St Albans, won an Oscar for his work on Madame D. in The Grand Budapest Hotel at the Hollywood Ceremony.

He was awarded the accolade alongside Frances Hannon, who also worked on the film.

The pair also won a BAFTA at this year’s ceremony for their joint efforts on the movie, which starred Ralph Fiennes.

Mark won his first Oscar three years ago for his work with Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady.
