DETECTIVES investigating a distraction burglary in St Albans have released a computer generated image of the man they believe was involved.
The incident happened on Tuesday, June 16, when a man pretending to be from the Water Board gained access to a property in the St Julian's area of St Albans.
The suspect, who is described as white, in his 40s, with short dark hair and approximately 5ft 6ins tall, distracted the female victim once he was inside and stole a quantity of cash before making his escape.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man or believes they may have seen him in the area on the day of the offence.
