A pensioner has put up more than 40 Christmas decorations outside his home to raise money for a good cause during the festive period.
Frank Clark, of Vicarage Close, in Watling Street, St Albans, has climbed his ladder to pin up festive-themed decorations to raise money for Dreamflight - a charity that provides seriously ill and disabled children with a holiday of a lifetime.
The 76-year-old said he always displayed a lot of decorations in his front garden over Christmas and his daughter, Nicola Dillon, suggested that he should use it as a way of fundraising for Dreamflight.
He continued: “My daughter said why not help Dreamflight this year and so I spoke to my neighbours and they said that it was a good idea.”
Frank’s neighbours have also assisted him on his fundraising mission by donating decorations to help enhance his display.
He continued: “I’ve had two or three people go and get me some lights and so I have more this year.
“There are people that live all around the area and they’re putting decorations through the door.”

Frank has placed a sealed bucket in the front garden so people can leave donations which he will hand over to his daughter so she can do the final count up.
He said: “My daughter will open it up and hand the money over to Dreamflight; if it’s £10 it’s £10 and if I get £100, it’s £100, it would just be nice to get something.”
“Dreamflight does a lot of stuff like the children can swim with dolphins and they have a fantastic time.”
The lights will remain on up until the New Year and donations can be left at 6 Vicarage Close.
