A 22 year old man from St Albans has been charged with grievous bodily harm after allegedly stabbing a 50 year old man on Monday (1).

David Barralet, of St Albans, was charged with the offence after a 50 year old man was hospitalised with stab wounds in Cambridge.

Police were called to Green End Road, Cambridge at about 7.15pm and the man was later taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital with serious injuries where he remains in a stable condition.

Officers cordoned off about 10 houses and a pathway and about six patrol cars were at the scene, Cambridge News reports.
