Made subject to a curfew from 8pm-8am daily until November 15, and ordered to £314.72 compensation, £170 towards victim services and £500 costs. He was also committed to prison for 24 weeks suspended for 18 months after breaching a suspended sentence order made by West and Central Herts magistrates' court on September 17.

Simon Speer: 36, of Bricket Road, St Albans. Stole several bottles of gin worth £62.76 from Aldi in Hatfield on May 15. Stole toiletries worth £15 from Poundland in Hatfield on May 10. Committed to prison for eight weeks suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £1 towards victim services.
