A charity quiz and curry night is being held this Wednesday, November 13, to raise funds for the homeless charity Open Door.

St Albans Ladies Circle has chosen Open Door, which offers beds to the homeless from its premises in Bricket Road, as its charity for the year.

It is holding the quiz and curry night at The Goat in Sopwell Lane from 7.30pm and the event is open to everyone. Tickets are £10 for quiz entry and food, available from charity@stalbanscircle.org.uk, and there will also be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.

St Albans Ladies Circle meets twice a month and members attend social events, drinks, cocktail making, theatre trips and the like but its other objective is to support a local charity each year.
