Staff from a St Albans housing association have been volunteering for Rennie Grove Hospice.
Hightown Housing Association staff lent a hand at hospice shops in St Albans and Hemel Hempstead on Tuesday, April 27.
Hightown chief executive David Bogle said: “It’s great to see volunteering as part of our staff conference working so well, as it benefits the staff at the same time as giving something back to our local communities.”
Another group of Hightown staff worked St Albans high street, trying to recruit runners for Rennie Grove’s superhero fun run on Sunday, July 9.
Staff also volunteered at Hightown’s Community Meeting Point in Harpenden, which helps local people with mental health problems.
Hightown is a charitable housing association which runs 5,300 homes across Hertfordshire for people who cannot afford to rent or buy.
