ST ALBANS: A homeless charity has received a £100 donation from a newly-opened homeware store.

Dunelm Mill on the Alban Park Estate off Hatfield Road presented the money to Emmaus after staff at the store picked it out as their preferred charity.

The St Albans store is the 100th Dunelm outlet and area manager, Duncan Mould, commented: “The 100th superstore was a big initiative for Dunelm Mill and it’s great to be included in the celebrations.

“Our staff always get fully behind any charity initiatives and we’re really pleased to be able to offer this donation to Emmaus Homeless Charity, a charity to both ours and the local community’s hearts.”
