A SNIP of success is looming for a St Albans hairdresser who has been shortlisted for an industry competition.
Sam Palmer, 21, of Sandpit Lane, St Albans, works at Sanrizz salon in The Maltings and has always had a creative edge, working alongside his peers on photographic shoots many times.
He has been shortlisted in the Fame Team competition which highlights the UK’s most aspiring newcomers to the hairdressing industry. From the hundreds of applicants, Sam has become one of 20 finalists who will go on to demonstrate their cutting skills and recreate their photographic submission on a live model.
Ten will go through to the last and final stage.
Sam said, “I am so honoured to reach this stage, from all those entries, I will give it my very best shot, and I’ve had a lot of encouragement from the Sanrizz team. I’m really truly excited.”
